LensLab Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the LensLab Android app (package com.infyon.lenslab) handles your information. LensLab is published by Infyon Innovations (Lumnon Labs | Infyon Innovations), referred to as "we" or "us". If anything here is unclear, write to us at infyoninnovations@gmail.com. 1. Information that stays on your phone

LensLab stores your lesson progress, quiz results, bookmarks, notes and settings only on your phone. We cannot see this information. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes it.

2. Information we process when you use online features

The following applies only when you use features that need an internet connection, such as Ask AI.

Your Google account

To use Ask AI or make purchases you sign in with Google. Google shares your Google account ID and email address with us. We store these to create your account and keep track of your credits. We never receive your Google password. The same account works across Lumnon apps that use Google sign-in.

Your questions to Ask AI

When you ask a question, the question and the last few messages of the same conversation are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes them to our AI provider, OpenAI, to generate the answer. We do not store the text of your questions or of the answers on our servers. For each answered question we keep a record of the time, the amount of AI processing used, its cost and which credit paid for it, so we can manage your credits, prevent abuse and control costs.

Please do not include personal or sensitive information (such as phone numbers, addresses or health details) in your questions.

App usage information

The app may send basic usage events, for example that a screen was opened or a feature was used, with the time and, if you are signed in, your account. We use these to understand how the app is used and to improve it.

3. Technical and security information

Our server records technical details such as your IP address, the time of each request and the app version in its logs, and keeps short-lived counters to stop abuse such as too many requests. We use these only for security and to keep the service running.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are made through Google Play, which processes the payment. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details. Google Play sends us the details of each purchase (the product, order number, purchase token, purchase status, renewal or expiry date and your country or region) so that we can add credits or activate your plan, and handle renewals, cancellations and refunds.

5. Advertising

LensLab does not contain third-party advertising, and we do not use your information to build advertising profiles.

6. How we use information

• To provide the app's features, including answers from Ask AI.
• To manage your account, credits, purchases and subscriptions.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure and available.
• To understand how the app is used, fix problems and improve it.
• To answer your support requests and to meet legal obligations.

7. Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the app, and only as needed:

• Google: Google sign-in, Google Play billing. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI: generates Ask AI answers from your question. See the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
• Our hosting providers: run the servers that deliver the app's online features and content.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and of the service.

8. How long we keep information

• Your account (Google account ID and email), credits and purchase records: for as long as your account exists.
• Sign-in sessions: they expire after 90 days.
• Records of answered questions (without the question text): for as long as your account exists.
• App usage events: deleted after 180 days.
• Abuse-prevention counters: deleted within two days.

When you delete your account, we delete the information above within 30 days, including from backups as they expire. Google Play keeps its own records of your purchases under Google's policies.

9. Your choices and rights

• You can use the offline content without signing in.
• You can delete your account and data at any time.
• You can withdraw your consent by signing out, stopping using the online features and deleting your account.
• You can remove the information on your phone by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
• You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to infyoninnovations@gmail.com.

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correct and erase your personal data and to have your grievances addressed. You can raise any privacy concern or grievance with us at infyoninnovations@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.

10. Children

The offline content in LensLab is suitable for learners of all ages. The online features (Google sign-in, Ask AI and purchases) are intended for users aged 18 and over, or for younger users with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has used these features without such consent, contact us and we will delete their information.

11. Security

The app uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) to talk to our servers. Sign-in sessions are stored only in a protected, hashed form, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

12. Processing outside India

Our service providers, including our AI provider, may process information in other countries. We use established providers that protect the information they handle.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we handle your information, we will let you know in the app or on this page.
